The National Center for Wildlife, in coordination with relevant authorities, has regulated a facility engaged in exhibiting wildlife (zoo) without a license.

This action is considered a violation of the environmental regulations and its executive provisions related to wildlife. The Center clarified that the facility was conducting this activity without proper licensing, and it possessed wildlife in an irregular manner.

Regulatory procedures were applied to the facility, including penalizing its owner and transferring the animals involved in the violation to the Center’s shelter unit in Riyadh, where they receive appropriate care.

The facility housed over 100 wildlife animals without a license, including predatory creatures and various species of birds, including birds of prey and endangered species.

The Center emphasized its ongoing monitoring and pursuit of all violations related to wildlife, urging citizens and residents to report any violations related to environmental regulations and executive provisions concerning wildlife by calling the unified number 19914 or using the Fatori platform.
